Bio

MOSUN (Morrison Ma) is a Chinese-American artist and producer — born in Guangzhou, raised in the US, based between Taipei and Los Angeles.

He writes, produces and arranges his own records around a modular synth rig, singing in Mandarin and English: dark, cinematic R&B for the hours between midnight and sunrise. A Recording Academy voting member, he has arranged for BLACKPINK’s Coachella set and for some of the biggest names in Mandopop, including Jolin Tsai, and is a 2026 Golden Melody Awards nominee for Best Arranger.

MOSUN is one of very few Mandarin-language artists who builds his process around modular synthesizers — electronic texture and cinematic sound design under R&B songwriting, in Mandarin and English. The lyrics are plain-spoken and 3 AM-honest: vulnerability, avoidance, dependency, self-examination. Pop in shape, strange in texture.
